Description:
One of the newest introductions to the world of laceleaf Japanese maples. The spring flush is cherry-red, hardening off to a dark purple/red. Color retention is the best among similar cultivars standing up well to summer heat and shadier locations. 'Red Dragon' is an improved, more compact 'Crimson Queen'.
