Description:
Pendulous racemes of small white flowers are up to 6 inches long in spring. Fruit matures in mid to late summer, turning from red to near black. Extremely valuable tree for all wildlife: birds, bees, caterpillars, butterflies, and mammals. Bark is glossy and smooth when young, becoming platy and rough with age. Attractive orange-yellow fall foliage. NATIVE.
